This lovely farmhouse has been in the family for over 80 years, and is full of family heirlooms and antiques. It exudes that old charm and warmth of years past, retaining original cabinetry, tin ceiling, built in china cabinet, old style woodwork, curved walls and much more. Downstairs is the eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor (with private area w/ twin bed for sleeping, napping or cozying up with a book), 1/2 bath and laundry room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with queen bed, and larger bedroom with two twins and queen bed. Outside, the farm is surrounded by lush lawns, pasture and woods. Children can play outside in the large yard, swing in the tire swing hanging from a nearby tree, splash in the shallow creek adjacent to the property, or explore the fields and woods. Or take a leisurely walk (5-10 mins) through a short trail to the pristine lake of Lily Pond - ideal for warmer swimming in its fresh, clear waters. This home will not disappoint - whether a single, couple or family, it is a wonderful place to be! For what you get for this price...it cannot be beat!

All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine Lodging Tax, plus an additional, refundable security deposit, and a cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed without prior permission from the owner of the cottage. If granted permission, an additional $100 pet fee is collected and kept at our discretion if any evidence of pet hair or damage is found on your departure.
