The Atwell House offers two oceanfront apartments, rented separately or together. Located on Main Street in charming Deer Isle village, the apartments are located behind and above the Red Dot Gallery and Coffee Shop, with Northwest Harbor speading out across the back of the property, garnering distant views or the hills of Camden. Nearby are other galleries, shops, antiques, restaurants, post office, library and the beautiful Pilgrims Inn, with it\\\\\\\'s delectable Whale\\\\\\\'s Rib Restaurant and lush gardens. The quiet nature of Deer Isle village offers a restful location, yet with convenient niceties just steps from the property. Each apartment boast outstanding views across the bay, are well kept, and set up beautifully and comfortably. The lower apartment has one bedroom (queen), kitchen, livingroom and full bath. The upstairs apartment has 3 bedrooms (queen, full, twin), spacious living/dining room (daybed in LR, large picture window offers ever-changing views of the harbor as the tide comes and goes), kitchen (with skylight), and full bath. A beach is just out the back of the property, and wraps around northwest harbor awaiting your exploration. And Lily Pond, with it\\\\\\\'s much warmer swimming waters, is only a 10 minutes walk away. All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine Lodging Tax, plus an additional, refundable security deposit, and a cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed without prior permission from the owner of the cottage. If granted permission, an additional $100 pet fee is collected and kept at our discretion if any evidence of pet hair or damage is found on your departure.
