The renovations and addition were done with space and sun as the main goal giving each room a clean, open sunny feel. The state of the art, chefs kitchen is equipped with all the necessities and is open to the dining room and living room with a very nice, granite topped bar in-between.
Features
A gas fireplace makes the living room couch a favorite spot to sit and read or gaze out the French doors to the forest and shore front beyond the back deck.
The master bedroom, with a king bed, is located downstairs with its own bathroom and deck. A smaller bedroom is located off the kitchen with two twin beds.
The third bedroom, Queen bed, is located off the entertainment room on the second floor, as well as a small space with two day beds for the occasional guest.
Outside the cottage you will find relatively unspoiled terrains. The owners worked with nature and the trees surrounding the house to create a calming focus on the natural, coastal beauty of the area. In the front yard, there a few perennial gardens and shrubs, once again, planted to work with nature. A fern surrounded path to the tidal shore is a quiet and serene stroll and when one arrives, there is a double swinging chair to sit in and enjoy the salty breeze.
Located just a few minutes walk to the Deer Isle Yacht club and a gorgeous sandy beach, A Bonnie Briar is perfectly situated for those looking to get away, but still want to be easy driving distance to all amenities.
Youll get up at sunrise, not because you have to, but to relish each precious moment of the day.
Washer and dryer, satellite TV, DVD player, Stereo with CD Player, Dishwasher, Gas grill on the deck, books and board games and wireless internet access for those of you that need to stay in touch with the outside world.

All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine Lodging Tax, plus an additional, refundable security deposit, and a cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed without prior permission from the owner of the cottage. If granted permission, an additional $100 pet fee is collected and kept at our discretion if any evidence of pet hair or damage is found on your departure.
