Waterfront!The Gray cottage is a classic, romantic example of coastal architecture of a bygone era. The structure sits about 10 feet from the sea surrounded with 15 acres of pastoral Maine fields, mature apple trees and a line of 200 year old oaks.

The shore front is a mixture of flat rocky ledges and small sandy beach. Perfect for strolling or for camp fires on the rocks. Cook lobsters on the shore and eat them with your bare hands while watching the kids play jump the wave. The interior is charming and intimate, filled with seaside ambiance. It offers a fire place in the living room, a rustic kitchen, full bath and three bedrooms; one of which is so close to the shore you may have to grow some sea legs to fully appreciate it.
The view from the covered porch and oceanside windows is a panorama of dancing waves. The color of the light and ocean changes with the season.....from an impossibly deep green and blue to a gun metal grey when a nor easter blows in.
If your looking for a slower rhythm of days and a way to make the tension in your shoulders drain away, than this refuge by the sea is a perfect choice.

All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine Lodging Tax, plus an additional, refundable security deposit, and a cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed without prior permission from the owner of the cottage. If granted permission, an additional $100 pet fee is collected and kept at our discretion if any evidence of pet hair or damage is found on your departure.
