Well off the beaten path, this early 19th century Farm House has been in the same family for 175 years. Located on 26 acres of open fields, woods and streams that run along the Reach Road to the shore of Eggemoggin Reach, just south of the Sedgwick town landing. Huge back lawn with 100 year old plantings and perennials. At the forests edge, one will find a winding trail through woods and field. Cross the enchanting little bride w/ bench seating over the stream, then to the shore beyond. The Bay is home to lobster boats, pleasure crafts and Windjammers. Take your camera and walk the shore; there is always something to see: a starfish clinging to the dock or sail boats tacking out of the bay. Located between Deer Isle and Blue Hill, you will find hiking trails, art galleries, antique shops, seafood restaurants and boat excursions all within a short drive.

All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine Lodging Tax, plus an additional, refundable security deposit, and a cleaning fee. Pets are not allowed without prior permission from the owner of the cottage. If granted permission, an additional $100 pet fee is collected and kept at our discretion if any evidence of pet hair or damage is found on your departure.
