This 2 story cape on Hatchs Cove is truly a charmer. The owners talent in decorating and design is immediately evident. The minute you walk through the doors you will feel refreshed by the warmth and coziness of this coutry-french styled cottage, full of color and interesting collectibles. Arched doorways open the space between the living/dining area to the kitchen. Dining can occur in the spacious eat-in kitchen, or the larger dining table, lit by darling chadelier. Or cozy up on the comphy livingroom couch with a book, or watch a movie on the flat screen tv. Kitchen chores will be a delight as you work and gaze out the panel of windows that line the counter and sink, taking in the vast ocean scene beyond. Upstairs are 3 spacious bedrooms, all with views to Hatchs Cove (1-queen, 2-full, 3-3 twins). There is a 1/2 bath upstairs, and a full bath downstairs. The grounds are mezmerizing. Lush lawns, gardens and shade trees surround the house. Further along, sea grasses and wild flowers guide you to the shorefront. At the shore, when the tide is in, lounge on the smooth granite ledges, with the tide lapping at your toes. Or at low tide, watch the active birds and little sea creatures come to life. A nice sandy beach is just on the far side of the cove. And one can even do a little clam digging. The cove is also an exceptional place for kayaing, whether going out away from the cove, or under the bridge and further up in to the cove. This truly is a house that is sure to be enjoyed both inside and out, and you will want to return to many times!
